About ASSET

The ASSET (Analysis of Social Services Evaluation Team) process has existed in Story County since 1985.  It brings together five major funders of human services programs in a collaborative, volunteer-led effort to coordinate local planning, assess needs, evaluate the capabilities of agencies to provide programs, and recommend funding for programs.

Participating funders include:

• City of Ames
• Iowa Department of Human Services
• Iowa State University Government of the Student Body
• Story County
• United Way of Story County

Applications for the funding year July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014 are due at noon on September 30, 2012  The review of applications, including recommendations to funders, will take place during the first two weeks of January 2013.
