Story County ASSET

The ASSET (Analysis of Social Services Evaluation Team) process has existed in Story County since 1985.  It brings together five major funders of human services programs in a collaborative, volunteer-led effort to coordinate local planning, assess needs, evaluate the capabilities of agencies to provide programs, and recommend funding for programs.

Our Funders

Multiple Sources, One Contact

ASSET is supported by five Funders: The City of Ames, Department of Human Services, Goverment of the Student Body of ISU, Story County, and United Way of Story County. All but DHS contribute direct funding to the ASSET process. Each Funder has priorities that guide the Volunteers in making their recommendations.
